As a Technical Program Manager - Body & Closures, you'll:

  • Build, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules for body mechanisms, sealing systems, and structural integration programs.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers to manage hardware build plans, track part deliveries, and ensure program milestones are met.
  • Maintain issue trackers, follow up on root cause analysis progress, and facilitate cross-functional meetings to drive hardware issues to resolution.
  • Partner with mechanical engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and validation teams to coordinate development activities and track bill of materials maturity.
  • Support packaging investigations and clash analysis using CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks.
  • Manage the release of technical datasets and manufacturing drawings through formal product lifecycle management workflows.
  • Identify program risks, remove roadblocks, and communicate project status to stakeholders.

  • 2–4 years in project management, TPM, manufacturing, or ME
  • Exposure to physical product development lifecycles (Design, Sourcing, Validation, Build) — ideally automotive, robotics, aerospace, or consumer electronics
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple workstreams
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project BS in ME, Industrial Engineering, Business, PM, or related field
  • Familiarity with automotive body systems (latches, hinges, actuators) or manufacturing processes
  • Basic familiarity with 3D CAD or PLM systems (like 3DEXPERIENCE)

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Passion for autonomous tech and robotics
