ProCare Therapy is partnering with a supportive school district in Maine to hire a dedicated Educational Technician (Ed Tech) for the current school year. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about working with students and supporting their academic and personal growth in a collaborative school setting.
Position Overview
Location: Farmington, ME
Schedule: Full-time (30–40 hours per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
• Support classroom instruction under the direction of a certified teacher
• Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce lessons
• Assist in implementing IEPs and individualized supports
• Provide behavioral and academic support to students as needed
• Help maintain a structured, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications
• Must meet Maine Educational Technician (Ed Tech) certification requirements (Ed Tech II or III preferred)
• High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
