Position Summary

Mosaic Technologies is currently looking for anIT Support Specialist to join our growing team. The IT Support Specialist plays an important role in supporting Mosaic's customers and internal teams by serving as the primary point of contact for commercial customer technology needs. This role is responsible for implementing, securing, maintaining, and troubleshooting customer and internal IT environments, with a strong focus on networking, Microsoft platforms, and infrastructure reliability.

Essential Functions (including but not limited to)

  • Install, secure, and maintain Microsoft platforms, system hardware, and software.
  • Support and troubleshoot Ethernet networks, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN, and WAN environments.
  • Analyze network performance issues and implement corrective solutions.
  • Create, implement, and maintain data backup and disaster recovery plans.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of core services, including Internet, Voice, and Video.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal staff.
  • Perform scheduled remote monitoring and management of customer systems.
  • Implement, document, and audit user access controls and security permissions.
  • Participate in on-call and after-hours support as required.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned by management.

  • Strong understanding of current technology security best practices.
  • Ability to evaluate, test, troubleshoot, and repair complex physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
  • Professional and courteous communication skills with customers and coworkers.
  • Processoriented mindset with experience improving efficiency and scalability.
  • Ability to handle confidential information securely.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, systems administration, and IT service delivery.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in IT, computer science, or related field or five years of related field experience required.
  • Industry certifications such as Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), Network+, or similar preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain and valid driver's license.

Location & Schedule

  • This position is located at our Eau Claire, WI office.
  • The core schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 4:30 with overtime as needed to meet customer needs.
  • Participates in an on-call rotation.
