JOB TITLE: IT DATA ARCHITECT
ASSIGNMENT LOCATION: RICHARDSON TX OR TULSA OK (NO REMOTE)
LENGTH: 6-MONTH CONTRACT POTENTIAL TO EXTEND 12-18 MONTHS
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Lead for complex projects and solution implementations.
- Understand and document current state context diagrams, current state data flow diagrams.
- Work with stakeholders to identify data related pain points.
- Document high level data requirements. Work with teammates to drive out detailed data requirements.
- Design Target State Data Architecture in alignment with Enterprise Data Strategy, Information Security Requirements.
- Design and Document data models, database structures, and data integration solutions to support large volumes of data.
- Oversee data integration processes, including ETL/ELT workflows.
- Optimize databases and data pipelines for efficiency.
- Lead the implementation of new data platforms and technologies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to data engineers, analysts and other team members.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and managing large-scale data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses and cloud environments
- Experience designing complex cross-domain data models.
- Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably AWS S3 Iceberg and AWS Services.
- Proven track record of successful collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence at all levels, from new hires to executives.
