The Opportunity
Our client is scaling its expert credentialing ecosystem across a large enterprise software platform, supporting 30K+ geographically dispersed users globally. We're looking for a senior learning systems lead who knows Docebo inside and out — and who is energized by owning everything around it.
Docebo is the delivery layer, but it isn't the whole picture. Content is configured in an internally built content management system (CMS) that publishes into Docebo, and certification gating and approval logic run in a separate system. You'll be the person who understands how all of it connects, where the gaps are, and how to explain that to the business.
This is a hands-on lead role on a team of five. You'll run the platform, coordinate a small offshore support team, and help build the processes — incident escalation, coverage, policy — that keep a high-volume learning operation stable. You won't design curriculum or own measurement strategy. The client is not named in this posting and will be shared during the interview process.
What You'll Do
- Platform administration & governance — Own day-to-day Docebo administration: configuration, user and access governance, power user profiles, course and catalog setup, data integrity, version control, and archiving inactive courses. Help build a decentralized role structure that lets partner teams self-serve safely.
- Connected systems & content pipeline — Own the workflow from the internal CMS into Docebo. Know what syncs automatically, what doesn't, and close the gaps manually or with engineering until the integration is complete.
- Certification gating & access logic — Support the business rules that connect our training systems to other company systems (via integration/middleware platforms), determining when employees are assigned training and issued certifications. Partner with technical teams to understand the underlying logic, then translate it into clear guidance for business stakeholders.
- Incident management & escalation — Serve as the escalation point for LMS tickets and severe (P0) incidents. Design and maintain a cross-functional escalation pathway with engineering, IT and business partners.
- Offshore support coordination — Coordinate two offshore contractors who work the LMS support ticket queue. Run twice-weekly working sessions, prioritize their workload, and align it with cross-functional partners.
- Operational planning & policy — Draft LMS policies, coverage plans (including holidays and peak season), and runbooks for a team of five.
- Release & QA management — Manage release processes for content and platform updates, including QA before go-live.
- Integrations & data flow — Partner with platform and engineering teams on integrations, data flow and technical issues, including xAPI/SCORM tracking gaps.
- Documentation & standards — Maintain documentation for configuration, processes and SOPs across Docebo, the CMS and connected systems.
- System health & risk monitoring — Monitor system health and surface risks — capacity, vendor issues, sync failures, data problems — before they affect delivery.
What You Bring
- 5+ years hands-on Docebo administration in an enterprise environment.
- Deep fluency in LMS configuration: user roles and permissions, power user profiles, course catalogs, learning plans, automation, reporting, and API/integration basics.
- Experience running an LMS alongside other connected systems — a CMS/LCMS, HRIS or custom-built tools — and troubleshooting where data passes between them.
- Incident management experience: triaging severe issues, running escalations, and building or improving an escalation process across engineering and IT.
- Experience coordinating or leading support staff, including offshore or vendor teams, and managing a ticket queue (Jira or similar).
- Comfort presenting to business stakeholders and translating technical constraints into plain decisions.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot independently, without vendor hand-holding, and to ramp fast with minimal structured onboarding.
- Clear written documentation: SOPs, runbooks, policies and coverage plans.
- Experience in a credentialing, certification or professional training environment, ideally with gating or approval logic tied to job readiness.
- Familiarity with xAPI/SCORM tracking issues and common causes of data gaps.
- Experience with Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) and single-source content architecture.
- Has led or supported an LMS migration or major platform transition.
- Background in a high-volume, seasonal operation (contact center, support or financial services).
- Working knowledge of Confluence, Looker or similar reporting and knowledge tools.
