Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Occasional travel to project sites for meetings, inspections, and collaboration with on-site teams.

Required:
- Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
- Experience in project estimating, with a focus on conceptual engineering and project design (7+ years);
- Experience in utility-scale energy projects, including renewable energy, power generation, and transmission infrastructure;
- Experience in engineering principles and practices;
- Experience with construction methods, materials, and equipment;
- Experience with industry standards and best practices in project estimating and cost management;
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Preferred:
- Experience in project estimating, with a focus on conceptual engineering and project design (10+ years);
- Experience in field engineering or construction management (3+ years);
- Experience with cost estimation software and tools (e.g., PlanSwift, WinEst, CostX, or similar);
- Experience with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6;
- Master’s or Post-Graduate Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field.
- Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or Certified Cost Professional (CCP)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead the development of detailed project cost estimates, including conceptual, preliminary, and definitive estimates for new and existing projects.
- Perform conceptual engineering design and develop preliminary construction plans to support estimating scope quantification.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates.
- Perform value engineering analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain estimation tools, databases, and methodologies to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of cost estimating processes.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to account for potential project uncertainties.
- Present cost estimates and value engineering options to senior management, project stakeholders, and clients.

- Track project costs and variances throughout the lifecycle, updating estimates to reflect scope, design, or market changes;
