Job DescriptionSenior Electrical Control Panel Builder: Machesney Park, Illinois We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control Panel Builder to join our production team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can independently lay out, build, wire, test, and troubleshoot industrial control panels and machine electrical systems from schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of materials
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and wire electrical control panels and industrial equipment
- Read and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Lay out and install electrical components within panels and enclosures
- Cut, strip, label, terminate, and route wiring
- Perform drilling, tapping, and other basic fabrication as needed
- Wire electrical components and devices throughout machinery
- Test completed wiring and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Make modifications or repairs to existing panels and equipment
- Work with engineering and production teams to resolve build or print-related questions
- Maintain an organized workspace and follow established safety procedures
Skills & Experience:
- Education: Highschool diploma or GED, required
- Experience: 3-5+ years of industrial control panel building or machine wiring experience, including working with breakers, contactors, relays, VFDs, power supplies, PLC I/O, sensors, required
- Knowledge: wire sizing, electrical color codes, labeling, and proper termination practices, required
- Ability: to follow written work instructions and communicate effectively with engineers and production team members, required

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00/hour
Type: Full-time, 1st Shift, On-site
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. & Friday, 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
