About the team
\n
Core Platform development is spread across multiple cross-functional teams, each building large and complex components of the MDM platform. Engineer plays senior role in a team is technically responsible for particular feature delivery which consists of:
\n
● Presenting solution to Architects
\n
● Technical drive feature delivery, make decisions, development leadership - distribute tasks across one-two regular engineers
\n
● Work with QA to review testing approaches, provide all details needed for testing, review test plans
\n
● Be responsible for all internal feature documentation
\n
\n
Responsibilities
\n
● Work closely with Tech leads and architects, Kanban master, QA and PM to deliver high quality work
\n
● Complex features development
\n
● Provide good code coverage in unit and integration testing
\n
● Be ready for every day technical decisions
\n
● Professional communication with other cross-functional team representatives
\n
● Be ready for sustenance in areas under engineer responsibility
\n
\n
Required Skills
\n
● 5+ years of experience in enterprise application design, development
\n
● 5+ Experience in backend applications development
\n
● Proven ability to deliver solutions, offer implementation support, engage with customers.
\n
● 3+ years of experience in building scalable distributed data systems using Java and Cloud Technology.
\n
● Good technical background with previous development experience for enterprise customers
\n
● Strong Java knowledge (Java 8 and above), Java Runtime basics
\n
● Provide Technical mentorship and leadership to junior team members.
\n
● Hands-on technically, comfortable reviewing and writing code.
\n
● Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in algorithms, data structures, software design, and building large, distributed systems
\n
● Experience in performance optimisations, code profiling, Java application runtime analysis
\n
\n
Preferred Skills
\n
● Experience with Amazon AWS, Azure or GCP and its services
\n
o Managed databases (AWS DynamoDB, Google GBQ, GBT, Azure CosmosDB)
\n
o Managed Queue services (AWS SQS, Google PubSub, Azure Service Bus)
\n
● Experience in cloud security principles
\n
● Experience with Kubernetes
\n
● Experience with Big Data Technologies
\n
● Experience in customer support in SaaS area is a big plus
\n
● MS in computer science or equivalent experience
