We are on the hunt for a talented and experienced EMC & Compliance Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and a team of highly skilled professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our products meet the necessary EMC and regulatory compliance standards. The role requires a deep understanding of UL, CSA, & IEC standards, and a proven ability to design PCB layouts and shielding for EMC mitigation.
Responsibilities
As an EMC & Compliance Engineer, you will:
1. Plan, develop, and execute EMC compliance tests for new and existing products.
2. Analyze and interpret test data, preparing comprehensive and detailed reports.
3. Collaborate with the design team to develop PCB layout and shielding designs for EMC mitigation.
4. Troubleshoot test setups and product designs, identifying and resolving any potential issues.
5. Ensure all products are compliant with relevant UL, CSA, & IEC standards.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and regulations, ensuring our products remain compliant.
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective implementation of EMC compliance strategies.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to the product development team.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in EMC testing and compliance, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of UL, CSA, & IEC standards.
4. Proficiency in PCB layout and shielding design for EMC mitigation.
5. Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
7. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
9. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
10. A proactive approach, with the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and regulations.
