Principal Solutions Architect

We're partnering with an innovative enterprise technology organization undergoing a large-scale digital transformation and seeking a Principal Solution Architect to help shape the future of its mission-critical platforms and distributed systems landscape.

This is a highly visible leadership role focused on enterprise architecture, cloud-native platforms, event-driven systems, and large-scale application modernization.

\n

\n

What You'll Do

\n

\n
• Define and drive architectural strategy across complex, distributed enterprise platforms

\n

• Lead the design of microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud-native applications

\n

• Architect scalable solutions supporting both real-time and batch processing workloads

\n

• Partner with engineering, product, platform, data, and security teams to deliver resilient enterprise solutions

\n

• Establish architectural standards, governance frameworks, and technology roadmaps

\n

• Mentor senior engineers and architects while promoting engineering excellence across the organisation

\n

• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations to support long-term business objectives

\n

• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and highly available technical solutions

\n

\n

What We're Looking For

\n

\n
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture, distributed systems, or enterprise solution architecture

\n

• Expertise designing large-scale cloud-native applications and microservices architectures

\n

• Strong background in event-driven architecture, messaging platforms, and asynchronous communication patterns

\n

• Experience architecting high-volume transaction processing or data-intensive systems

\n

• Deep understanding of scalability, resiliency, security, and performance best practices

\n

• Experience working within Kubernetes and containerized environments

\n

• Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to influence technical and executive audiences

\n

\n

\n

Preferred Experience

\n

\n
• Background in financial services, capital markets, fintech, or highly regulated environments

\n

• Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or C#

\n

• Knowledge of Kafka, cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevOps practices

\n

• Experience with data platforms, streaming architectures, and enterprise integration patterns

\n

Compensation & Benefits

• Base up to $230,000K

\n

• Bonus: 30%
