Payrate: $55-60/hr Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and support modern enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, SQL, and microservices architecture. The role requires a strong understanding of software engineering best practices, secure SDLC, CI/CD, Agile delivery, and modern DevOps practices. Experience within the financial services industry and exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure application architectures.
- Develop efficient SQL queries and perform database performance tuning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Follow secure SDLC practices and enterprise development standards.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support modern DevOps practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, to improve development productivity and code quality.
- Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to production support and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of Java development experience using Spring Frameworks.
- 2+ years of React development experience.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
- Strong SQL development and database performance tuning experience.
- Experience with secure SDLC practices.
- Strong experience designing and developing microservices-based solutions.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience delivering software in an Agile environment.
Desired Skills
- Experience with GitHub Copilot Agent Mode.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience supporting applications within the financial services industry.
- Experience with risk, compliance, workflow, or reporting platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application development, scalability, security, and performance.
