SUMMARY:
We are seeking a professional and dedicated individual to join our IT Department in the role of database developer. The position will development our database and business intelligence systems to align with the strategic goals of the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and maintains reports for analytical and operational functions.
- Designs database structures.
- Maintains and expands our data warehouse using ETL processes.
- Maintains data integrity and accuracy in a variety of sources.
- Collaborates with other developers on data solutions.
- Manages database administration functions such as backup, index maintenance and error logging.
- Creates documentation for changes and new reports, data structures and solutions.
- Provides guidance on data structures, best practices, and programming solutions.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
- All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· This position will have no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
· Developing and maintaining reports using MSSQL and SSRS
· Knowledge and experience of SQL coding and best practices
- Ability to develop dashboards and other visuals for high level reporting to management
- Strong experience in relational database design and development.
- Patient and professional demeanor, with a can-do attitude. High degree of comfort with change and ambiguity.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Deliver excellent internal and external customer service.
- Ability to query operational databases and data warehouses to deliver accurate information.
- Work with data from a variety of sources (text files, excel spreadsheets, MySQL databases, Active Directory, Cisco Switches)
- Knowledge of information systems, including some familiarity with manufacturing ERP systems, financial, business applications, manufacturing planning systems, inventory control applications and ability to plan and perform medium- to large-scale software integrations
- Develops solutions that meet customer needs in an effective manner while efficiently managing computing resources.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in both a small team environment and as an individual contributor
- Desire to stay up-to-date with current technologies, patterns, and trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Provide general technical support as needed.

· Microsoft SQL Server
· Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)
· Microsoft Power BI
· Microsoft PowerShell
· ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· 2+ years working experience in a database development role.
- An associates or bachelor’s degree in an information technology field, or a combination of relevant experience and education.
