Information Security Operations Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking an Information Security Operations Specialist responsible for the day-to-day operation and administration of enterprise information security solutions, with a primary focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and related security technologies.

The role includes hands-on support of security systems and servers, troubleshooting technical issues, responding to internal employees and customers, and coordinating with IT and security teams to resolve operational issues.

While DLP is a primary responsibility, the position may also support other areas of information security as business and operational needs evolve. Frequent communication and coordination with Korea Headquarters is required, making professional proficiency in both Korean and English essential.

Key Responsibilities

Support the operation, monitoring, and administration of DLP and enterprise security solutions.

Review security alerts, policy events, system issues, and operational requests.

Troubleshoot security systems and related Windows and Linux servers.

Perform basic server administration and maintenance under established procedures.

Support server upgrades, migrations, relocation, system transitions, and infrastructure activities.

Collaborate with network, infrastructure, application, help desk, and security teams to resolve technical issues.

Participate in testing, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of security technologies.

Coordinate with Korea Headquarters and local teams regarding operational issues, system changes, security requirements, and technical matters.

Create and maintain work instructions, operating procedures, troubleshooting records, and technical documentation.

Document issues, investigation findings, actions taken, and final resolutions.

Support security audits, compliance requests, evidence collection, and other security-related activities.

Assist with additional information security projects based on team priorities.

Required Qualifications

Professional proficiency in Korean and English, both verbal and written.

Basic understanding of Information Security concepts and principles.

Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and firewalls.

Strong interest in developing hands-on Information Security skills.

Ability to troubleshoot issues by gathering information, analyzing problems, and coordinating with appropriate teams.

Good communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to clearly document technical issues, procedures, and resolutions.

Strong attention to detail and ownership of assigned tasks.

Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Up to 2 years of experience in Information Security, IT, System Administration, Network Administration, Technical Support, or a related field.

Internship, academic project, or hands-on lab experience in information security, systems, or networking.

Experience supporting internal employees, business users, or customers in a technical environment.

Exposure to DLP, Web Proxy, Email Security, Endpoint Security, or Vulnerability Management.

Familiarity with Windows or Linux server administration.

Experience working in a global organization or communicating with Korea-based teams.

CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus.
