Job Title: Senior .NET Developer
Location: Tallahassee, FL (100% remote eligible)
Duration: Approx. 16-month contract (02/28/26 – 06/30/27)

Role Overview

Support modernization and remediation work tied to a large-scale financial systems transition impacting applications, interfaces, databases, automated processes, and reporting programs.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver robust, scalable solutions on cross-functional application projects in collaboration with SMEs and distributed teams.

Own full lifecycle development and ensure code quality/efficiency aligned to architecture and design standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including monitoring incoming requests and service desk tickets.

Research and document business processes and technical assets and how they relate.

Perform unit testing prior to UAT and implementation.
Required Skills & Experience
-
2+ years as a lead developer; 5+ years in development.

Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET/MVC, WCF/WebAPI, SQL Server.

JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Knockout, etc.), REST, XML, JSON, HTML, Python, CSS.

RDBMS experience including DB2 and SQL Server.

Experience with design patterns, performance tuning, troubleshooting; waterfall and agile.

Ability to architect cloud-based applications leveraging PaaS/IaaS (e.g., Microsoft Azure).

Strong communication, customer service, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills

Legacy modernization/conversion experience (DB2, COBOL, CA-GEN, FOCUS, etc.).
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
