Role: Data Center Technician
Location: Old Ironsides Dr, Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 3 months
Shift Timing: 5:00 PM Local time Onwards. (Multiple shifts ) and Implementation work is required during weekends.
Site Address:
- Site 1 - SC9 (Csquare SFO2-B): 4650 Old Ironsides Dr, Santa Clara, CA
- Site 2 - SC8 (Csquare SFO2-A): 4700 Old Ironsides Dr, Santa Clara, CA
- Both the sites are located within single campus.
Key Requirements :
- The tech is required to do the physical work during this project.
- The tech will be required to remove the devices from existing racks at site 1, Pack them, move them via Truck to the Site 2, re-rack the devices in the required rack and label them.
- The tech must have a driving license.
Job Description :
Reliable hands-and-feet resource with experience in cabling, device removal, and labelling.
- Data Center Experience person knowledge of Racking and Stacking
- Laying cables
- Labelling cables and devices
- Removing devices from Racks
- Following directions clearly
Additional requirements:
- For transport requirement is for 1 x 10foot / 12foot box truck for 6 weeks.
- Trolley or pallet jack if not available at the site.
- Packing material (Bubble sheet/ box)
- Label printers
*Device list and plan to be shared later at site.
