Key Responsibilities
Design and Deployment:
Plan, design, and deploy advanced enterprise wireless networks using Cisco technologies.
RF and Site Surveys:
Conduct wireless site surveys, RF design, and spectrum analysis to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve complex wireless issues in large-scale environments, focusing on connectivity and performance problems.
Security:
Implement and maintain secure wireless access policies, understanding and mitigating wireless security threats.
Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed documentation of network infrastructure, design, standards, and best practices.
Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams, including security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders, to ensure reliable and secure wireless access.
Optimization:
Monitor network performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement network architectures and optimizations for better efficiency.
Mentorship:
Support and mentor junior engineers and technical teams to elevate overall wireless network expertise within the organization.
Required Skills and Knowledge
Active CCIE Wireless Certification:
This is a mandatory requirement for expert-level roles, demonstrating deep knowledge and practical skills in wireless networking.
