Project Engineer / Electrical Lead (RIE/ E-Housing/ PDC Buildings)

Location: Houston, TX

Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time

\n

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

\n

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM

\n

Compensation: (Negotiable) + benefits, PTO, 401(k) and bonus opportunities

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Electrical Lead with a strong background in industrial electrical power systems and project execution.

\n


\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Lead electrical engineering activities from scope development through design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
  • \n

  • Support projects involving MV/LV switchgear, MCCs, transformers, VFDs, UPS/DC systems and electrical distribution.
  • \n

  • Review electrical drawings, one-lines, equipment layouts, cable schedules, grounding and other engineering deliverables.
  • \n

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • \n

  • Support equipment selection, technical specifications, RFQs, vendor evaluations and project estimates.
  • \n

  • Provide engineering support during construction, FAT/SAT, commissioning and field troubleshooting.
  • \n

  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, technical issues and stakeholder communication.
  • \n

  • Required Qualifications
  • \n

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • \n

  • Approximately 5+ years of electrical project engineering, electrical lead or related industrial experience.
  • \n

  • Strong hands-on experience with MV/LV switchgear and MCCs.
  • \n

  • Experience with transformers, VFDs, UPS/DC systems and electrical distribution.
  • \n

\n


\n

E-House, RIE, PDC, electrical building or similar packaged/modular power-distribution experience is highly valued but not mandatory.
