Job Details
We are seeking an experienced HVAC BAS Applications Engineer with a strong background in Schneider Electric EcoStruxure. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in translating MEP drawings and specifications into fully developed submittal packages, while also serving as a technical resource for field installation teams. Familiarity with Studio 360 engineering software is a major plus. This role combines engineering expertise with hands-on field support to ensure successful project execution from design through installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop comprehensive BAS submittal packages.
- Engineer and configure BAS control systems with a focus on Schneider Electric EcoStruxure platforms.
- Utilize Studio 360 engineering software (if experienced) to streamline system programming and design workflows.
- Provide technical support to installation technicians during system deployment, startup, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to ensure designs align with project scope and customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including submittals, drawings, and control sequences.
- Assist with system commissioning, testing, and final turnover.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in BAS/HVAC controls engineering, applications engineering, or related field.
- Strong working knowledge of Schneider Electric EcoStruxure platforms.
- Experience creating submittal packages from MEP drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with Studio 360 engineering software strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, DDC controls, and energy management principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and support field technicians during installation and commissioning.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
