Location: Novi, Michigan
Job Type: Temporary Contract (4-6 months)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Wix Website Developer for a temporary contract opportunity onsite in Novi, Michigan. This individual will be responsible for updating, improving, and maintaining an existing Wix website, with a focus on creating a professional, user-friendly experience that works well across desktop and mobile devices.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, can quickly understand business needs, and has hands-on experience building and modifying websites within the Wix platform.
Responsibilities
Update and maintain an existing Wix website.
Create and modify pages, layouts, menus, forms, and other website content.
Improve the overall appearance, navigation, and usability of the website.
Ensure website pages are responsive and display properly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Upload and format text, images, documents, and other website content.
Identify and correct broken links, formatting issues, or other website problems.
Assist with basic search engine optimization (SEO) and page setup.
Connect or update Wix applications, forms, and other integrations as needed.
Work directly with internal team members to understand requested changes and translate them into website updates.
Test website changes and ensure functionality before publishing.
Qualifications
Previous hands-on experience developing or maintaining websites using Wix.
Strong understanding of website layout, navigation, and responsive design.
Ability to make visual and functional improvements to an existing website.
Experience working with Wix Editor and/or Wix Studio.
Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot website issues.
Good communication skills and ability to work directly with non-technical team members.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities within a temporary project-based assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Wix Velo is a plus, but not required.
Experience with website redesigns, marketing websites, or small-to-medium business websites.
Portfolio or examples of previous Wix website projects are strongly preferred.
