Job Description Job Title: Senior Project Manager- Waste Water Employment Type: Full Time Location: Goldsboro, NC Pay: $DOE per year Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm Job Summary: The Senior Project Manager – Wastewater is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and successful delivery of complex wastewater infrastructure and treatment projects from preconstruction through final closeout. This position oversees project scope, schedule, budget, contracts, procurement, quality, safety, risk, and client relationships while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities: · Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects, establishing project objectives, execution strategies, budgets, schedules, and staffing plans. · Manage project financial performance, including budgets, cost controls, forecasts, cash flow, commitments, and profitability. · Direct multidisciplinary project teams, including project engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and field personnel. · Administer prime contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders, including scope management, negotiations, claims, and commercial risk. · Develop and manage detailed project schedules, procurement plans, construction sequencing, milestones, and recovery strategies. · Coordinate engineering, design, procurement, and construction activities to ensure project requirements are effectively integrated and executed. · Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, design clarifications, technical issues, and resolution of field and engineering conflicts. · Oversee construction activities involving wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, collection systems, force mains, pipelines, and related infrastructure. Required Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. · 8–12+ years of progressive construction/project management experience, with significant experience managing wastewater or water infrastructure projects. · Proven experience managing large, complex wastewater treatment or infrastructure projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout. · Demonstrated responsibility for project budgets, schedules, contracts, cost controls, procurement, and financial performance. · Strong knowledge of wastewater construction methods, treatment processes, utility infrastructure, underground construction, and construction sequencing. · Experience with municipal, public works, DOT, or federally funded infrastructure projects preferred. · Working knowledge of EPA, state environmental agency, OSHA, permitting, NPDES, and applicable wastewater construction requirements. Preferred Qualifications: · Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or comparable project management software. · Ability to interpret civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, process, and instrumentation drawings and specifications.
