Position Overview
\n
We are seeking a highly experienced IBM API Connect (APIC) Lead to lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise API and integration solutions.
\n
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of integration/API development experience, including 5+ years of hands-on IBM API Connect experience, along with strong expertise in Kubernetes and cloud-native, containerized environments.

- REST/RESTful and SOAP services
- API security — OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, TLS
- JSON and XML

- Kubernetes / K8s
- Experience translating business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans
- Strong technical leadership and team mentoring experience

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise API and integration solutions
- Drive end-to-end API lifecycle delivery
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and reusable APIs and services
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture, designs, and implementation plans
- Guide technical teams through development and implementation activities
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers
- Establish and enforce enterprise API/integration standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and support API and integration solutions across environments
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and infrastructure teams
