Position: Epic Orders Analyst
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5pm Hybrid (Going on site 2 days a week)
Work Locations: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6-month contract to hire.
PR: $45-$55
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Healthcare, or related field OR 5 years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of orders sets build experience, back-end.
- Epic certified: Any module.
- Strong understanding of physician workflows.
Plusses:
- Certified or credentialed in Epic Orders.
Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and maintain the EPIC orders module according to organizational needs.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to understand and optimize order workflows and order sets.
- Conduct rigorous testing of the EPIC system, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures related to the EPIC orders system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the EPIC orders module.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EPIC system updates and enhancements.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure system interoperability and data integrity.
