Position Overview

At SandTech Solutions, we are committed to “Enabling Success” of our clients’ missions. We are seeking a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee operational projects and recurring requirements, ensuring timely delivery, effective resource use, and clear communication with stakeholders.

1. Security Clearance

• Secret clearance associated with this position. Active clearance requirement to be confirmed.

2. Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field and at least five years of project management or related experience.

• Alternatively, a master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of relevant experience.

• Alternatively, ten years of intensive and progressive relevant experience without a degree, plus a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• PMP certification preferred for applicants qualifying through a degree-based pathway.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and milestones.

• Coordinate personnel and resources to support timely execution.

• Oversee smaller projects and recurring operational requirements.

• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and progress toward objectives.

• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.

• Identify risks and adjust plans to address changing requirements.

• Measure project performance and recommend improvements.

4. Required Qualifications

• Project management experience meeting one of the education and experience pathways above.

• Ability to manage schedules, project resources, and competing priorities.

• Experience tracking progress, budgets, deliverables, and project performance.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

5. Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification when not already required under the applicable education pathway.

• Experience supporting field operations or similar mission-focused environments.

6. Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is a day-shift position supporting field operations at Joint Base Andrews (JBA). Work is primarily onsite, with ad-hoc telework as permitted. Duties typically involve meetings, computer-based planning, documentation, and coordination across stakeholders.
