Assistant Project Manager – Construction | $75,000–$95,000 | New York, NY
Full-time
INF Associates is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support electrical infrastructure, EV charging, solar, and lighting construction projects.
Working with Senior Project Managers, you will help coordinate projects from planning through closeout, with responsibility for documentation, procurement, billing support, and project coordination.

Essential Responsibilities
Project Administration & Documentation
- Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and project records
- Maintain files, logs, meeting notes, and closeout documentation
- Use platforms including Monday.com and Procore
Procurement & Subcontracts
- Support vendor and subcontractor quote reviews
- Track subcontractor documentation and compliance requirements
Cost, Billing & Change Management
- Assist with payment applications, schedules of values, and change orders
- Support cost tracking, certified payroll, and prevailing wage requirements
Coordination
- Coordinate permits, inspections, utilities, deliveries, and site activities
- Work with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Attend project meetings and site walks
- Support smaller projects from award through closeout
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of construction project experience
- Understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documents
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit project sites
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical, MEP, EV charging, solar, or lighting project experience
- Familiarity with AIA contracts and billing
- Experience with Procore, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6
- OSHA 30 or CAPM/PMP progress

Compensation & Benefits
$75,000–$95,000, based on experience and qualifications.
