Role: Solution Architect IV

Location: Sterling, VA - Onsite
\n
Pay Rate: $90-100/hour on W2, client will not consider C2C
\n
\n
7+ years of Cloud Security Architecture experience designing and securing enterprise-scale cloud environments.
\n
Hands-on expertise across AWS, Azure, and GCP including cloud-native security services and security governance.
\n
Strong Identity & Access Management (IAM) experience with least-privilege design, role-based access controls, and policy management.
\n
Experience securing cloud-native and serverless architectures including API, microservices, and event-driven platforms.
\n
Cloud networking expertise including VPC/VNet design, routing, VPNs, WAFs, CDN security, and Zero Trust architecture.
\n
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
\n
Hands-on security tooling experience with solutions such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, AWS GuardDuty, GCP Security Command Center, Wiz, Splunk, or Chronicle.
\n
Strong scripting/automation skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Golang, or Node.js.
\n
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container security in production environments.
\n
Knowledge of secrets management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Azure Key Vault.
\n
Experience performing architecture reviews and security risk assessments for cloud applications and infrastructure.
\n
Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards including NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, and SOC 2.
\n
Ability to collaborate with engineering leaders and product teams to provide security guidance throughout the SDLC.
\n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience presenting architectural recommendations to senior leadership.
