We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Coding Analyst to join our team. The Coding Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and interpreting complex data and code to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established coding standards. This position is ideal for professionals experienced in medical coding, data coding, or software code review, depending on your organizations focus.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, analyze, and interpret data/code in accordance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Ensure the accuracy and consistency of coded data and resolve discrepancies as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., billing, IT, clinical, or development) to clarify requirements and resolve coding issues.

Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of coding procedures and guidelines.

Conduct audits and quality reviews of coded data or software code.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing best practices.

Stay current with changes in coding standards, industry regulations, and relevant technologies.

Provide coding support and training to team members as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Health Information Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in coding analysis, whether in medical, data, or software environments.

Proficiency with coding systems and standards relevant to your industry (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS for healthcare; SQL, Python, Java, or related languages for software/data).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or distributed team environment.

Certification in relevant coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent) is preferred for medical coding roles.

Hourly Pay Rate:

$35 - $55 per hour (based on experience, education, and technical expertise).
