Blatteis Realty is an established commercial brokerage in San Francisco seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to design and build a cutting-edge, fully custom real estate website with a powerful CMS. We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for excellence and innovation in the commercial real estate space.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a top-tier website that elevates our brand and expands our online reach. We value creativity and expect you to bring fresh ideas to the table, developing features that showcase our properties and services in unique and engaging ways. The new site will include key functionalities such as property searches, team bios, market news, and user sign-ups, with exciting features like an interactive neighborhood map and potential AI chatbot integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop a custom commercial real estate website with a CMS (excluding the use of website templating services).
• Implement advanced property search functionality, agent bios, market news, and sign-up forms.
• Develop an interactive map feature, providing localized insights for users.
• Research and potentially integrate an AI Chatbot for real-time visitor engagement.
• Apply SEO best practices to optimize site performance and visibility.
• Conduct rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) testing to ensure a flawless user experience across browsers and devices.
• Independently manage and drive the project lifecycle, developing a comprehensive project plan with well-defined milestones and timelines to ensure efficient and timely execution of each phase
Technical Requirements:
• Front-end Development: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), with experience in frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular for dynamic, responsive design.
• Back-end Development: Proficiency in server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP) to manage data flow, CMS integrations, and API connections.
• Database management: Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) for scalable data storage.
• CMS development: Ability to build and customize a CMS from scratch, suited to real estate needs.
• Mapping and geolocation: Familiarity with interactive mapping technologies (e.g., Google Maps, Mapbox, Leaflet) to build an engaging, location-based feature.
•SEO: In-depth understanding of SEO techniques, including structured data, page speed optimization, and content accessibility standards.
•AI integration: Basic experience or familiarity with AI tools (like chatbots) for user support and engagement.
• Project management skills: Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively plan and track project progress, provide updates, and deliver results on time.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Web Developer, with a portfolio highlighting custom web applications, ideally within real estate or related sectors.
• Experience in comprehensive web development, encompassing the entire lifecycle from initial planning and design through deployment and quality assurance (QA) testing
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork.
