Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Construction & Industrial Equipment

Pay: $25–$38 per hour depending on experience

This position involves diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment used in construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments.

Applicants with only automotive mechanic experience will not be considered.

Requirements

• Experience repairing heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, bulldozers, or similar machinery

• Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment

• Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment repairs

• Ability to use mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment

• Reliable transportation to work

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy construction or industrial equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment

• Repair hydraulic systems, mechanical components, and engines

• Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues

• Maintain safe repair procedures when servicing heavy machinery

Work Environment

This position operates in a heavy equipment repair environment involving large machinery, hydraulic systems, mechanical tools, and outdoor equipment operations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience repairing construction equipment

• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems

• Experience maintaining large industrial machinery
