Your Mission as a design engineer
As a Design Engineer, you'll lead the development of mechanical designs that drive performance, reliability, and manufacturability. You'll take ownership of product concepts from early-stage design to production release, combining technical excellence with project leadership across departments. Your role will directly support our innovation efforts in high-reliability electronic systems.
What You Bring
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience

5-8 years of experience in design engineering within an AS9100 environment - ideally in connectors or electronic components

Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and knowledge of GD&T
-
Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, plastic/silicone injection molding, and back-potting
-
A responsible, autonomous, and flexible mindset - with a collaborative spirit
ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development

Create detailed designs for products, components, or systems using SolidWorks.

· Perform design calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure functionality, performance, and safety.

Select appropriate materials, processes, and technologies for design projects.
Project Management

Lead and manage multiple concurrent design projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to scope and budget

Work closely with cross-functional teams - engineering, manufacturing, quality, and procurement - to align on feasibility and readiness

Interface with internal stakeholders or clients to gather requirements and provide progress updates
Prototyping & Testing

Build and test functional prototypes to validate design intent and performance

Analyze test outcomes, troubleshoot design challenges, and implem
