What We’re Hiring For
Iron Will Ventures is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support multiple program offices in software and tool development to enable analysis team support of flight test events to validate the weapon and system sensors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Test Resource Management Center Multi-Service Advanced Capability Hypersonic (MACH) Portfolio of Programs executed by NSWC Crane, and Space-Based Interceptor (SBI) executed through US Space Force’s Golden Dome of America with tool development enabling analysis team capability
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of experts in multiple technical areas to develop analysis and engineering tools deemed necessary to enhance productivity
- Support AFSIM operators in developing required plug-ins
- Utilize knowledge, skills and experience with missile characteristics (physical, kinematics, signatures) and engineering to support engineering activities and data product development
- Configure and operate telemetry data acquisition equipment during test events
- Perform vehicle telemetry data decommutation, reduction, conversions, etc.
- Generate target vehicle visualizations, situational awareness displays, and reports/briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM field (e.g., physics, engineering, math)
- 10+ years of experience in missile defense related or other DoW programs/projects
- Active DoD Secret security clearance, U.S. Citizenship required
- Proficiency with Java, C++, C#, and other programming languages
- Proficiency with MATLAB and other programming languages
- Experience with telemetry systems, data acquisition, and analysis
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with hypersonics, missile defense and/or DoW programs and processes
- Experience in any or all of the following disciplines: Design, CAD, Trajectory, Telemetry, Radar Cross Section (RCS) Signatures, Optical Signatures
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks
- Ability to communicate detailed technical information to technical and non-technical personnel
- Eligible to obtain and maintain Top Secret and/or TS/SCI desired
