We are looking for a collaborative and creative Frontend Developer that thrives in a team environment, creating solutions for challenging customer driven business needs. This role will work as part of the Customer Driven Solutions (C.D.S.™) team focusing on a flagship proprietary software that Trane offers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is in the process of revamping a long-standing successful technology and the person in this role will help us shape the direction of future offerings. You will work closely partnering with other software and project engineers as well as with our technical support, development, and product teams.

Where is the work:

Due to the nature of this role, this position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

What you will do:
\n
- \n
- Develop and maintain user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into responsive and interactive web pages.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve overall performance and user experience.
- Implement best practices for web development and ensure code quality.
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and other services.
- Motivated to solve challenges and work independently.

What you will bring:
\n
- \n
- Associate’s Degree (AA) in technical engineering discipline.
- 2+ years (i.e. software using object-oriented design, C/C++, C#, Microsoft .NET, Front-end, Back-end, Full Stack Development, etc.) experience
- Testing experience (TDD/BDD, unit tests, mocking frameworks)
- Understanding of the software development process. Strong background in productivity software & collaboration tools. Proven experience as Front-End developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Blazor.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development. Project management, time management, planning, organizational and analytical skills required.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git. Along with knowledge of Test and Defect Management tools like ALM and Jira. Experience with Agile practices is desired.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment is a plus.

Compensation:
\n
Base Salary: $84,000 - $112,000
\n
