Power Platform Administrator & Solutions Developer
Position Summary
ASI works with the Covered California to support collaboration, productivity, identity, security, and business process needs across its Microsoft 365 tenant(s) and related Microsoft cloud services. This position is expected to operate as a technically strong contributor who can work with limited direction across different environments.
The Power Platform Administrator & Solutions Developer will lead design, development, administration, and ongoing support of Power Platform and SharePoint Online solutions for Covered California. This position will also own integrations between these solutions and other enterprise systems, and carries Power Platform-specific governance (environments, connectors, and application lifecycle management).
- Regular part time W2 employee
- Hourly, nonexempt
- Approximately 20 to 30 hours per week
- $52 to $54 per hour
- Additional hours may be available during rollout, subject to funded Work Authorizations
- Employment contingent upon contract award, customer approval, and background clearance
What you’ll do:
- Be available on site in Sacramento during normal hours of operation.
- Administer and customize Power Platform in the cloud, including governance of environments, connectors, and policies.
- Design and implement solutions using SharePoint Online and Power Platform components, including model-driven apps, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Build and maintain integrations between Microsoft 365 Platform services and other enterprise systems.
- Provide ongoing enhancements and operational support for deployed Power Platform and SharePoint solutions.
- Produce Power Platform-specific documentation and lead related knowledge-transfer activities.
- Support Power Platform governance: environment strategy, connector policies, and application lifecycle management (ALM), coordinating with the Architecture & Governance Advisory workstream on tenant-wide standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or other technical discipline. Additional relevant experience may be substituted for a degree consistent with contract requirements.
- At least four (4) years of experience with Power Platform administration and customization in the cloud, including governance of environments, connectors, and policies.
- At least three (3) years of experience designing and implementing solutions using SharePoint Online, Power Platform (including model-driven apps, Power Apps, Power Automate), and related Microsoft 365 Platform services, including integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Preferred/Desired:
- Experience migrating legacy SharePoint On-Premise content/solutions to SharePoint Online will be a plus where applicable to this workstream's SharePoint solution scope.
