Duties
Classroom Management: Establish a safe, positive, and structured learning environment that supports all areas of child development.
Curriculum Instruction: Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons aligned with state standards and tailored to individual learning needs.
Assessment: Monitor student progress using observations and assessments; maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families.
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and parents to support each child's success; attend meetings and ongoing professional development.
Classroom Environment: Keep the classroom clean, organized, and well-equipped with age-appropriate materials; follow all safety protocols.
Behavioral Support: Foster social-emotional skills and address behavioral challenges positively and effectively.
Professional Conduct: Stay current with early childhood education practices, uphold ethical standards, and mentor support staff as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experienceteaching in a pre-kindergarten or early childhood setting (required).
- Experience developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula (required).
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an educational setting (preferred).
