Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web-based applications and portals through both automated and manual testing processes. This position offers a long-term contract opportunity and requires collaboration with diverse teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough manual and automated testing for web-based applications, portals, and content management systems.
• Utilize tools such as Katalon Studio and Selenium to execute automated regression testing.
• Analyze business processes and collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and document test cases.
• Debug websites, portals, and applications to identify and resolve issues effectively.
• Validate data to ensure accuracy and compliance with system requirements.
• Create and maintain test scripts and documentation for audit and process improvement purposes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA team members to coordinate testing efforts.
• Apply CI/CD practices to streamline testing and deployment processes.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings to report testing progress and address challenges.
• Provide recommendations for improving testing workflows and methodologies.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, focusing on both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency with tools like Selenium and Katalon Studio for web browser automation.
• Demonstrated expertise in automated regression testing and debugging software.
• Experience with troubleshooting technical issues and validating data accuracy.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to create detailed test plans and documentation to support testing activities.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of API testing and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
