Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers by phone or at the branch and develop positive customer relationships
  • Assess customer needs and gather relevant information to support service requests
  • Create work orders in appropriate business and service management systems
  • Provide customers with service status updates as requested
  • Translate customer concerns into appropriate troubleshooting plans and follow established diagnostic workflows and procedures
  • Use mechanical, electronic, and computer-based diagnostic tools to identify service issues and support successful repairs
  • Validate repairs and document troubleshooting results in applicable business systems
  • Analyze customer issues to determine root causes and associated damage for warranty purposes
  • Interpret warranty guidelines, determine coverage eligibility, and identify applicable repair items
  • Prepare and submit warranty claims with accurate supporting documentation
  • Gather information related to technical issues and use available resources and data management tools to support resolution
  • Escalate technical issues to the appropriate level of expertise when necessary and document troubleshooting activities for seamless resolution
  • Create and verify customer, equipment, service, and technical information within service management systems
  • Select and use appropriate electronic hardware and software service tools for product maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
  • Interpret electronic diagnostic results and recommendations to determine appropriate next steps
  • Maintain accurate service records for historical tracking and payment processing
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders while managing conflicts professionally
  • Deliver customer-focused solutions while maintaining trust, integrity, and professionalism

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience
  • High school diploma, secondary education completion certificate, or equivalent qualifying experience
  • Export control or sanctions compliance licensing (as applicable)
