Senior AWS Full Stack Software Engineer Full-time Hybrid – Knoxville, TN | Columbia, SC | Lafayette, LA | Birmingham, AL Position Overview Seeking a Senior AWS Full Stack Software Engineer to develop scalable cloud-based enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Python, Angular, AWS, and Generative AI technologies. This is a hands-on role involving full stack application development, APIs, microservices, AWS deployment, AI-assisted development, and technical mentoring. Key Responsibilities

Develop applications using Java/Spring Boot, Python, and Angular.
Build cloud-native applications on AWS.
Develop REST APIs, Microservices, integrations, and distributed components.
Incorporate GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and LLM-based solutions.
Work with LLM APIs and agentic workflows.
Apply AI to coding, unit testing, automation, and code reviews.
Support CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Maintain application quality, security, and performance.
Mentor junior engineers.

Must-Have Skills

5+ years of full stack software engineering experience.
Strong Java and Spring Boot.
Strong Python application development.
Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Strong hands-on AWS development and deployment.
AWS services including:
- Lambda
- ECS/EKS
- S3
- API Gateway
- DynamoDB
- RDS
REST APIs and Microservices.
Distributed systems.
Generative AI, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT.
LLMs, LLM APIs, and agentic workflows.
AI-assisted code generation, testing, and code reviews.
CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and DevOps.
Technical mentoring experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Financial services enterprise application experience.
Large-scale enterprise development experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
