We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team in Fremont, CA. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring prompt response to support tickets, resolving technical issues, and maintaining IT infrastructure to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, application and desk phone.
· Monitoring and troubleshooting all IT systems and networks.
· Providing technical support for all users with any issues on Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS, Redhat Linux, desk phone and networking.
· Setting up new accounts and training new employees.
· Co-working with operation on office printer, electric, UPS, badge and security camera system.
· Supporting warehouse or top manager assigned job.
Educational Background / Experience Required:
· BS/BA degree in IT or MIS related fields is preferred. BS/BA in Computer Science and Computer Engineering is acceptable.
· Familiar with Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS, Redhat Linux operating system and Microsoft office applications.
· Understanding network infrastructure and Windows AD/DC, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN and virtualization VMWare
· Ability to speak both English and Mandarin (must-have)
· Knowledge of Electric, UPS and HVAC for the server room extra.
