Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AI Lead Architect to own the technical architecture of AI-powered Copilot and agent solutions supporting enterprise business functions.

This role is approximately 80% architecture and 20% hands-on design, with responsibility for defining end-to-end technical blueprints, establishing architecture standards, and ensuring AI agent solutions are scalable, secure, governed, and enterprise-ready.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Define and own end-to-end technical architecture for Copilot Studio agent solutions.
- Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, and custom connectors.
- Establish reusable prompt architecture, patterns, guardrails, and template standards.
- Architect governance and security frameworks, including Microsoft Entra ID, data boundaries, and access controls.
- Provide architectural oversight for Power Automate workflows, including orchestration, approvals, and error-handling patterns.
- Define enterprise integration and connector strategies across platforms such as Jira, Teams, SharePoint, and Zoom.
- Review and approve solution designs developed by engineers and prompt specialists.
- Partner with enterprise architecture and security teams to ensure compliance with technical and security standards.
- Provide hands-on architecture and design support for complex or high-risk AI implementations.
- Create and maintain Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), technical design documents, and reference architectures.

Required Skills & Experience
\n

- Copilot Studio – Mandatory: Deep understanding of agent architecture, deployment models, capabilities, and platform limitations.
- Strong architectural knowledge of Power Automate, including advanced workflows, approvals, orchestration, and error handling.
- Expert-level experience designing RAG pipelines using SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, and custom connectors.
- Strong understanding of prompt architecture, reusable prompt patterns, guardrails, and design standards.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, data governance, security boundaries, and enterprise access controls.
- Experience designing enterprise integration, API, and connector strategies at scale.
- 5+ years of solution/enterprise architecture experience across AI, data, digital transformation, or related technology programs.
- Strong communication, technical leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working within Tier 1 financial institutions, including banking, wealth management, or capital markets.
- Experience with enterprise technology governance and architecture review processes.
- Microsoft certifications in Azure AI, Power Platform, or Copilot Studio.
- TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.
- Experience producing architecture artifacts and technical documentation within regulated environments.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on AI/Solution Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio, RAG, Power Automate, Entra ID, prompt engineering, and enterprise integration. They should be comfortable setting architecture direction while also contributing directly to complex AI agent designs.
