Government and Technical Support Manager

Position Summary:

The Government and Technical Support Manager is responsible for driving government sales growth while overseeing the administration, compliance, and operational support of federal contracts and military procurement programs. This position serves as the primary liaison between Moldex and federal agencies, military procurement channels, Prime Vendors, and internal departments to ensure contract compliance, customer satisfaction, product availability, and revenue growth.

The role combines business development responsibilities with contract administration and technical support functions, requiring a strategic approach to account development, government procurement, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
\n
· Develop and execute government sales strategies and account plans in collaboration with sales leadership.
\n
· Present Moldex products to federal agencies and end users to secure product specifications and approvals.
\n
· Identify and pursue RFQ opportunities and contract awards within federal and military markets.
\n
· Develop and maintain relationships with procurement officers, military buyers, Prime Vendors, and government agencies.
\n
· Monitor competitive activity and government initiatives that may impact current and future opportunities.

- Provide technical support related to respiratory protection, hearing protection, and safety product applications.
\n
\n
· Maintain sales activities and account information within CRM systems.
\n
· Prepare monthly sales activity reports and forecasts for management.
\n
· Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
\n
· Manage the government product portfolio and support marketing initiatives focused on government customers.

Government Contract Administration

- Administer and maintain GSA/MAS contracts and related procurement programs.
- Manage contract modifications, pricing updates, product additions and removals, and contract renewals.
- Prepare and submit required federal sales reports and supporting documentation.
- Maintain contractor registrations, SAM.gov renewals, and authorized negotiator status.
- Monitor government procurement platforms to ensure accurate product listings and contract visibility.
- Support compliance reviews and audits in coordination with Quality Assurance, Legal, Human Resources, and Marketing.

Military & Federal Program Support
\n

- Manage DLA/DAPA programs and support military procurement activities.
- Maintain product offerings and pricing within military purchasing systems.
- Coordinate with Prime Vendors and procurement agencies to support customer requirements.
- Support National Stock Number (NSN) product administration and identify opportunities for additional NSN assignments.
- Process government RFQs and awarded orders through applicable procurement systems.

Customer Support & Technical Assistance
\n

- Serve as a primary contact for government customers, providing quotations, product documentation, and technical support.
- Provide technical support related to respiratory protection, hearing protection, and safety product applications.
- Coordinate order execution and customer requirements with Operations and Customer Service.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and other departments to support government sales growth.
- Maintain accurate customer records and account documentation within CRM systems.

Qualifications:
\n
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Government Relations, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
\n
· Minimum of five years of successful experience selling to federal agencies and end users.
\n
· Experience with government contracting, procurement processes, and federal acquisition programs.
\n
· Demonstrated knowledge of GSA schedules, SAM.gov, DLA/DAPA, NSN systems, RFQs, and government bid processes.
\n
· Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
\n
· Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
\n
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments.
\n
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
\n
Preferred Qualifications
\n

- Military experience and established relationships within government procurement channels.
- Familiarity with FAR regulations, SBA programs, GSA eBuy, DIBBS, and federal acquisition vehicles.
- Experience with proposal development and contract administration.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Experience supporting safety products, PPE, respiratory protection, or industrial markets is a plus.

- This position is located in Culver City, California and is 100% onsite.
- This role does not currently offer a hybrid or remote work schedule.
- Candidates must live in or near the Culver City area and be able to reliably commute to the office.
