Job Title: Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant
Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant with a strong hands-on development background. This role is strictly technical (not functional) and focuses on integrations, reports, data conversions, extensions, and customization for a new Oracle HCM Cloud implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Oracle HCM Cloud integrations, extensions, and data migrations
- Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and design RICEW objects
- Build inbound and outbound integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Develop and maintain OTBI and BI Publisher (BIP) reports
- Perform data conversions using HDL, HCM Extracts, UCM, and MFT
- Customize and personalize HCM pages using sandbox environments
- Support HCM modules including Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management
- Lead technical development efforts, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members
- Support testing, cutover, go-live, and post-production activities
- Maintain documentation and adhere to development standards and best practices
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a systems analyst/developer
- 7+ years supporting Oracle HCM Cloud modules (Core HR, Payroll, TA, TM, Benefits, Retirement)
- 7+ years of experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- 7+ years building OTBI and BI Publisher (BIP) reports
- Strong experience with SQL / PL/SQL
- Experience leading or supporting multiple full-cycle Oracle HCM implementations
- Experience training and mentoring technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Python scripting experience
- Experience with ATP, XML, JavaScript, Web Services, and SFTP
- Oracle HCM Cloud Certification
- Consulting or systems integrator background
- Familiarity with Redwood Pages, OGL, and Recruitment Booster
