Position : Cloud Engineer
Location : Malvern, PA Hybrid
Duration : Initial 9 months + extension - Long term contract role
Job Description
- Deliver complex features aligned with the team through thin-slice implementations.
- Improve operational efficiency by optimizing performance, scalability, and cost while addressing technical debt and security vulnerabilities.
- Lead technical discussions, provide code review feedback, and foster team collaboration.
- Create automation to reduce maintenance costs and maintain engineering best practices.
- Share knowledge through documentation and cross-team engagement.
- Hold team accountable to norms and communicate openly with constructive feedback
Qualifications: (2-5 minimum years)
Technical Skills:
- TypeScript, Python, Node, Angular, React, Git. AWS infrastructure (CloudFormation, Lambda, SQS, ECS, ECR, EventBridge, IAM, S3).
- Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
- Database management with PostgreSQL, Redshift, RDS, AuroraDB.
- Cloud platforms, GitHub, FaaS, DBaaS.
Management Skills:
- Product understanding with connection to user needs.
- Agile/Scrum/Kanban expertise.
- Task prioritization and commitment delivery.
- Mentorship capabilities.
- Technical decision-making confidence.
- Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to changing requirements.
