Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Drupal QA Developer to support and enhance dynamic websites. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Drupal 10/11, automated testing, manual testing, and secure web development practices. This role involves testing, troubleshooting, code reviews, deployment, and collaboration with developers to ensure high-quality, accessible, and secure Drupal applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automated and manual tests for Drupal websites
- Troubleshoot issues and provide actionable solutions
- Maintain test suites in line with the latest code changes
- Collaborate with development teams to plan, test, deploy, and enhance Drupal applications
- Participate in code reviews and deployment processes
- Implement best practices for accessibility and security standards
- Work with cloud platform vendors and infrastructure teams to manage hosted Drupal environments
- Mentor team members on Drupal best practices and efficient workflows
- Ensure websites meet performance, usability, security, and accessibility standards
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in Drupal site building, features, and theming
- Experience with Drupal 10/11 ecosystem components (Git, Composer, Twig) and Playwright
- Ability to develop testing strategies and maintain automated test suites
- Experience in UI/UX development, theme customization, and community theme enhancements
- Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience in iterative development environments (Agile, Scrum, Jira, GitHub Projects)
- Advanced PHP development frameworks and workflows (Symfony, Composer)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
Preferred Skills:
- Acquia Drupal Developer Certification
- Familiarity with Acquia tools and solutions (Cloud IDE, Acquia Pipelines, BLT, DDEV, Acquia Cloud)
