We’re looking for an entry- to mid-level IT Support Specialist who can thrive in a remote-first & fast-paced environment with occasional travel, support multiple clinics across Ohio and West Virginia, and take ownership of both day-to-day technical support and hands-on field work.
What You’ll Do
- Provide general IT support via phone, email, chat, and occasionally in person
- Troubleshoot Windows devices, iOS devices, printers, networking issues
- Microsoft 365 administration (users, groups, licenses, MFA)
- Support a growing and complex behavioral health EHR environment (Qualifacts)
- Play a key role in onboarding & offboarding, including account provisioning, hardware prep, and coordinating with HR generalists and regional leadership
- Receiving, unboxing, imaging, re-boxing, and shipping IT equipment to end users
- Set up and maintain small office networks (wired/wireless) using a working knowledge of the OSI model
- Support VoIP phone systems and configurations
- Assist with IT inventory tracking and management
- Use a ticketing system to document and resolve issues
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation for internal use
- Occasional travel to clinic locations for deployments, upgrades, and advanced troubleshooting (Ohio & West Virginia, mileage reimbursed)
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of hands-on IT support/helpdesk experience, including hardware & software support (required)
- Prior work in healthcare IT or behavioral health setting, including EHR system support (required)
- 1+ years working with Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, and/or Azure AD/AAD
- CompTIA A+ (required); Other CompTIA, Microsoft 365, Cisco, ITIL and other IT industry certifications preferred
- Working knowledge of networking (DHCP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, Wi-Fi)
- Familiarity with VoIP systems
- Strong communication, patience, and customer service skills
- Ability to work remotely, independently, and collaboratively
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- A safe, reliable home workspace with adequate room for multiple device preparations, imaging, and shipping/receiving equipment
- A desire to learn, experiment, make mistakes, grow from mistakes, and continually improve in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Points For
- Experience in high-volume device deployments
- PowerShell or other scripting and automation experience
- Experience creating IT documentation or building knowledge bases
- Basic understanding of databases, reporting, and analytics
