Role Description The ERP Champion is a full-time, on-site role based in Warren, MI, responsible for maximizing the value and efficiency of the company’s ERP system called Steelhead. This role focuses on understanding business processes, configuring and maintaining ERP workflows, and translating operational needs into system solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring data accuracy, troubleshooting ERP issues, coordinating updates and improvements, and supporting users through training and documentation. The ERP Champion partners closely with operations, finance, customer service, and leadership teams to streamline processes, improve reporting, and ensure the ERP system supports strategic and operational goals. This position also leads or supports ERP-related projects, testing new functionalities, and recommends enhancements to drive continuous improvement.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to assess processes, interpret data, and implement ERP improvements.

• Planning and organizational skills to manage configurations, system changes, and cross-functional ERP projects.

• Clear and effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, train users, and create user-friendly documentation.

• Understanding of finance and business operations to align ERP functionality with reporting, costing, and compliance needs.

• Customer service mindset to support internal users, respond to inquiries, and ensure a positive ERP user experience.

• Experience with ERP systems (implementation, administration, or super user level), preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.

• Proficiency with data analysis tools and MS Office (especially Excel) to create reports and process metrics.

\n

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

\n

• Ability to work on-site in Warren, MI, collaborate across teams, and adapt to evolving technology and business needs.
