Desktop Technician
Location: Menands, NY — Onsite
Pay Rate: $24.29/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Repair laptops and desktop computers at customer locations.
- Replace computer parts such as hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards.
- Perform computer swaps and replace or repair peripherals.
- Travel throughout the metro and surrounding areas for service calls.
- Update and close service tickets in real time using the company-provided phone.
Requirements
- Must have your own reliable vehicle and valid car insurance.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop repairs.
- Computer building or assembly experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and Microsoft applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.
- Client or government clearance may be required.
- Police or criminal background check may be required.
