Job Description
- Integrate Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Principles and Requirements into digital environments across the enterprise
- Promote and drive culture and adoption of MBSE throughout the organization
- Provide training and support to other engineers, technicians, and team members
- Develop standard work and business operating procedures related to MBSE and system architecture deployment
- Create formal processes for applying MBSE within the program
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams by working closely with various engineering disciplines and departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated system design and digital environment
- Develop and manage system architectures, interfaces, and requirements using MBSE tools
- Create models using languages like SysML to represent the system's structure, behavior, and various functional and nonfunctional requirements
- Communicate complex engineering technical information to team members of various backgrounds and disciplines
- Help to establish and maintain the Technical Baseline for a Command and Control (C2), and Research, Development, and Test (RDT) Operations Center
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or technical discipline required
Experience:
- 4+ years of systems engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering frameworks (e.g. DoDAF, UAF, TOGAF) required
- Strong knowledge of modeling languages (e.g. SySML, UML) required
- Experience using model-based SE tools (DOORs, Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.) required
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $105,000 - 135,000
