DAY-TO-DAY: This senior-level role focuses on client relationship management, business development, and expert technical leadership in water infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include: • Maintaining and expanding client relationships, leading proposal development and presentations, and securing new business. • Providing expert technical and design services, managing complex projects, developing scopes and budgets, and leading project teams. • Formulating solutions to complex problems, conducting critical negotiations, and handling controversial issues. • Active involvement in professional organizations, mentoring staff, and maintaining industry relationships. • Monitoring budgets and progress and managing A/R collections.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED: • BS with NC PE registration or ability to obtain it • 7+ years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and standard engineering design software. • Excellent presentation, technical writing, and public speaking skills, with proven experience in major business development • Strong understanding of the water/wastewater field, leadership, team building, and communication abilities.
