Job Description

MissionHires is seeking an experienced R&D NPI Engineering Manager, Project Management to lead a global project/program management team driving on-time, on-budget delivery of new product introductions within a Data Solutions business. This strategic, hands-on leader will optimize portfolio and resource management, evolve NPI phase-gate processes, foster cross-functional alignment with engineering, product, supply chain, manufacturing and operations, and report progress and business impact to senior leadership.

How You'll Contribute

    \n
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global project/program management team focused on NPI execution
  • \n

  • Drive end-to-end NPI project delivery on time, within scope and budget, with high quality outcomes
  • \n

  • Partner with engineering, product management, integrated supply chain, manufacturing, and operations to align priorities, resources, and timelines
  • \n

  • Optimize dynamic resource planning and allocation across projects to meet changing business priorities
  • \n

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to select and prioritize NPI projects aligned to strategic objectives and business goals
  • \n

  • Own, maintain, and improve the NPI phase-gate process for consistent, efficient product development lifecycle execution
  • \n

  • Continuously improve PMO methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
  • \n

  • Define, track, and report KPIs on project health and business impact; lead monthly business reviews to communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership
  • \n

  • Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the portfolio
  • \n

What Makes You a Great Fit

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • \n

  • Approximately 8+ years of proven experience in NPI or PMO leadership roles in data or technology-driven environments
  • \n

  • 2+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
  • \n

  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale, complex projects and driving successful product introductions
  • \n

  • Expertise in PMO practices, methodologies, tools, and processes
  • \n

  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and deliver results in a matrixed organization
  • \n

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
  • \n

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to drive efficiency and optimize outcomes
  • \n

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering-focused organizations
  • \n
