Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician/Material Handler to join our team at a locally owned, family-oriented company in Muskegon, MI. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in keeping production running smoothly by performing maintenance, repairs, and material handling duties with precision and efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Maintenance Technician/Material Handler, your responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment: Perform routine and emergency maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
• Inventory and parts management: Order spare parts and maintain an accurate spare parts inventory.
• Equipment installation: Assist in the setup and installation of new machinery and systems.
• Material handling: Operate a forklift to move materials and supplies safely and efficiently.
• Team collaboration: Work closely with production and maintenance teams to meet company goals and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience as a Maintenance Technician
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous forklift operation experience
• Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic maintenance principles

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and equipment issues efficiently
• Team-oriented mindset and commitment to workplace safety
