Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
\n
Position Summary:
\n

- Manage complex projects from concept through completion.
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, communication plans, risk logs, issue logs, status reports, and performance metrics.
- Implement risk management plans, including risk identification, impact analysis, resolution, tracking, documentation, and communication.
- Communicate effectively with sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Lead and manage multiple project teams focused on process improvement initiatives.
- Drive clinical process improvement initiatives within healthcare settings.

Education Requirements:
\n

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or an equivalent degree preferred.
- Coursework in healthcare administration or medical office management preferred.

Experience Requirements:
\n
- \n
- Minimum 5 years of full-time paid experience in healthcare administration or project management.
- Minimum 1 year of experience utilizing Microsoft Project or a comparable project management tool.
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience facilitating clinical quality improvement initiatives in a teaching hospital.
- Finance experience preferred.
- Prior experience driving change in a complex organization.

Certifications & Training:
\n
- \n
- Lean Six Sigma Training or Certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
- Healthcare quality and/or patient safety certification preferred.

Knowledge Requirements:

- Knowledge of Joint Commission requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques.
- Knowledge of planning and tracking project scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Knowledge of business operations and project team leadership.
- Experience with operational clinical redesign initiatives.
- Knowledge of improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Systems Theory.
- Knowledge of project lifecycle phases, communication requirements, deliverables, budgets, and security requirements.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage diverse project teams consisting of employees, vendors, consultants, and external partners.
- Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with medical and nursing leadership to implement clinical care redesign initiatives.
- Work closely with Finance leaders to support clinical improvement plans.
- Establish and embed best clinical and operational practices with clinical and operational teams.
- Partner with hospital-based services to identify and implement high-functioning, role-based workflows.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care.
- Provide training in data utilization and process improvement methodologies.
- Train clinic staff on the Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) process or similar quality improvement models.
- Support overall practice transformation and continuous quality improvement efforts.
